Michael is a Senior Investment Director in our Boston office and a member of the Real Assets Investment Group. This group sources and monitors real asset investments, manages real asset portfolios for clients, and stays abreast of trends that impact the real assets industry. Real assets include real estate, infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and timber. Within this area, Michael focuses on energy and real estate. He is also a member of the firm’s Real Assets Investment Committee. Michael is a frequent presenter at industry events, including Super Return, PrivCap Energy Game Change, and Markets Group Forums, and has authored several research pieces centered on energy private equity opportunities.Prior to joining Cambridge Associates in 2015, Michael served for six years on the investment team at Franklin Park, a private markets investment advisor, where he led due diligence on fund and direct investment offerings, developed original industry research, and directly advised the firm’s institutional clients. He also served as lead on the firm’s real assets and private debt investment activities. Prior to that, Michael was a research analyst at Halcyon Asset Management, a multi-strategy hedge fund, focused on special situations investments across the capital structure. He started his career in 2003 with credit analysis roles at Moody’s and Reuters.
